First Submission For Examination

Here are the important notes that you need to check prior to your thesis submission:

  1. The title of the thesis must be approved by the Faculty. Please discuss with your Supervisor(s) regarding this matter.
  2. After you get the title approval, please ensure your candidature is ACTIVE during the submission.
  3. Please alert & remember the last date of submission for every semester. The office of the Deputy Dean will circulate the timeline for the Postgraduate student at the beginning of every Semester.
  4. Please contact an officer in charge of every program before submitting your thesis to MAYA. The office will help you to check the formatting of the thesis/dissertation
  5. Send the following documents through email to the person in charge.  The subject of email, “Submission of Thesis” (Matrix No:) and cc to supervisor::
    • Form for submission (completely filled-in);
    • copies of the thesis/dissertation (hardcopy) ;
    • Turnitin report;

After Board Examiner Session

Below are the references of the required actions by the candidates after the Board of Examiner session according to the result.

Minor (supervisor)

  1. Candidates are required to do as follows:
    • To seek advice and clarification from your Supervisor(s) on the corrections to be made;
    • Ensure that your dissertation has been proofread;
    • Prepare the thesis/dissertation correction report Form.
       
  2. Please submit the following documents to the Deputy Dean of Postgraduate Office within 3 months:

Minor (supervisor & internal examiner) 

  1. Candidates are required to do as follows:
    • To seek advice and clarification from your Supervisor(s) on the corrections to be made;
    • Ensure that your dissertation has been proofread;
    • Prepare the thesis/dissertation correction report Form.
       
  2. Please submit the following documents to the Deputy Dean of Postgraduate Office :
  3. Following the corrections confirmation and verification by the Supervisor and Internal Examiner, submit the following documents at least one month before the deadline:

Major

  1. Candidates are required to do as follows:
    • To seek advice and clarification from your Supervisor(s) on the corrections to be made;
    • Ensure that your dissertation has been proofread;
    • Prepare the thesis/dissertation correction report Form.
       
  2. During the 4-5months, please submit the following documents to the Deputy Dean of Postgraduate Office :

Re-examination

  1. Candidates are required to do as follows:
    • To seek advice and clarification from your Supervisor(s) on the corrections to be made;
    • Ensure that your dissertation has been proofread;
    • Prepare the thesis/dissertation correction report Form.
       
  2. Please submit the following documents to the Deputy Dean of Postgraduate Office within 6-12 months:
