A signing ceremony was held to formalize the collaboration between TP-LINK and the Faculty of Computer Science and Information Technology (FCSIT), University of Malaya (UM). As part of this agreement, TP-LINK will provide equipment and technical support valued up to RM300,000, installing the latest Wi-Fi 7 technology in Lecture Hall 1, Lecture Hall 2 (each with a capacity of 350 users), and the Networking Teaching Lab (50 users). This makes UM the first public university in Malaysia to adopt Wi-Fi 7 technology, enhancing its teaching and learning infrastructure. TP-LINK will maintain the equipment during the agreement period and transfer full ownership to FCSIT at the project's conclusion.
