On 24 September 2024, a signing ceremony for the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) and Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) took place between SmartCore Digital Sdn. Bhd. and the University of Malaya, represented by the Faculty of Computer Science and Information Technology (FCSIT). During this event, SmartCore Digital announced a contribution of the overall project cost of RM300,000 includes RM130,000 for operating costs and RM170,000 for hardware infrastructure towards the Quranic AI Data Hub project, aimed at developing an advanced database to support research and development in Quranic-based technologies. This contribution reflects SmartCore Digital's commitment to advancing initiatives that create a positive societal impact. Managing Director of SmartCore Digital, Mr. Mohd Asrul Abd Aziz, highlighted the importance of this collaboration in providing opportunities for students and researchers to be directly involved. With support from all parties, the project is expected to be a successful model, inspiring more technological initiatives aligned with humanitarian values in the future. |
